Why we recommend these places
The Transport Museum is worth a visit. The rich industrial past of the Liège region contributed to the early development of urban transport. The people of Liège themselves are often unaware of the wealth that their region has produced in this area

Château de Jehay
The area's outbuildings house two exhibitions which show works coming from the castle's collection. "Jehay's Cabinet of Curiosities", "(Extra)ordinary birds" and "Amazing paintings!", allow visitors to discover two specific aspects of this vast and remarkable collection of works of art. The castle, surrounded by moats, is located in an idyllic setting. The Italianate parks and gardens are truly verdant settings in which, particularly, remarkable trees and trained lime trees edging pathways jostle for position. The old vegetable garden, dating back to the 19th century, has recently been restored. At the edge of the wood, surrounded by a brick wall and spreading out over a one-hectare area, the setting invites daydreaming. Visitors will be able to discover varieties of old vegetables, edible flowers, fruit trees or delicate roses … Timetable : From Tuesday to Friday, from 11:00am to 6:00pm. Weekends and public holidays, from 11:00am to 6:00pm. Last entries accepted at 5:00pm. Closed on Mondays and on 1 May. Admission free on the 1st Sunday of April to October
